Content marketing is the process of building a brand name, website, or other content to attract readers, customers, and partners. But it’s not just for the big media outlets or online retailers. Content marketing can be done from a small niche website to a massive media campaign.

It’s a great way to build an audience, but not all content marketing is created equal. There is a difference between a blog, twitter feed, or social media post that is intended to build traffic, and one that is meant to build an email list. If you are creating content for your own website then you’ll probably want to do more of the latter.

There are many different techniques I learned while building our website, but they all boil down to this: Write the best content you can and send it out to the hundreds of thousands of people that will be reading your content.

Rather, the goal is to give people the experience they want, whatever it is, and that will often be your primary goal. The goal for content marketing is not to become a website with 1000 pageviews a month, but rather to provide an experience that will convert the reader.

If that sounds complicated, it’s because it is. It’s not that the goal is to generate content to sell, but rather to create an experience that will ultimately generate more content. So, for example, if you have a blog with several posts on a topic, you could write 10 posts about that topic in a month and send them out to 1,000 people. That would generate 10 blog posts, but you would still have 5 posts to create content for.

Content marketing is a really complicated topic, and there is no one “right” way to do it. The way this video does it, for example, is very different from the way others do it. In this video, the goal is simply to provide a good experience to the reader. There is no more or less content to create, each video is simply a unique piece of content.
