I think referring synonyms for the two words “self-awareness” is the most important thing I can do for myself. The more I know about the many levels of self-awareness, the more I can realize that there are so many levels of the brain and how we think and feel about ourselves.
The other thing is that self-awareness is not a unitary thing. Like most people, I have one of these in my brain and I’m sure I have another one somewhere in my body. But I’m not sure how to find them. But there is no doubt that they exist.
A major reason why I am not able to find any one of these is a lot of people seem to think I’m a dumbass and I don’t have a clue about myself. I really don’t know how to find them except to go to the internet, click on an image on a website, click on a link, go to an app, click on a game, and search the site. I could be wrong, but I’m not.
I would assume that if you had just one of these in your brain, you could easily find out the rest. But I have to admit that finding them all would be a bit of a feat.
I’m not convinced that anyone’s brains are that big. It’s possible that they’re made up of tiny little pieces of tissue that you can’t see, but it doesn’t really seem likely.
The reason I bring this up is because, like the brain itself, there are more things we can do with our brains than we know the how. We can have thoughts, we can do things, we can feel emotions, we can even feel pleasure. And we can find out what these things are in a millisecond or two. So if you ask me, that makes the brain seem like a really big, really powerful, really amazing, amazing thing.
The same goes for the way I see it. You can get a brain made up of tiny things, but they can’t really be anything really powerful or intelligent. There are other things we can do with our brains than just say, “hey, if you ever have any kind of trouble with a brain, please don’t try to fix it.
I have spent the last few days writing up a few of my favorite pieces of self-awareness stuff on my website. It’s called “The Brain is an Amnesiac.” I think it might be helpful to those of you looking for your own “beginner’s guide” to self-awareness.
I agree that we can learn a lot from helping other people. But since I have a tendency to talk about myself and my interests, I would like to include a few pieces of self-awareness in the Self-Awareness section. I will be writing these pieces in a series of posts. Each post will be a section that contains a short video that teaches you how to identify and deal with the various parts of yourself that you have no control over.
When I first started using social media or blogging, I started by asking myself, “Do I really believe that I will never have any trouble with this?” So I started to write about this and then to ask myself, “Do I really believe that I’m going to be able to maintain this.” To be honest, I’ve mostly found that I have trouble maintaining some of my interests. This is a problem that I can’t seem to fix.
